Avengers 3D panel

Remember… when Tony Stark emerges from the darkness of a cave wearing armour he built with his own hands? His captors demanded a weapon. Tony worked, but the components served another purpose. Every hammer strike brought his escape closer. Behind crude metal plates, he assembled a machine powerful enough to carry him out. Now time is running out. Guards approach. Yinsen goes to delay them while Tony waits for the armour to activate. The seconds stretch. Freedom is only steps away, yet he cannot move. Then the metal begins to shift. The guards face an enormous armoured figure. Its movements are awkward, its footsteps heavy, but their bullets strike its shell as Tony advances. He forces his way through them. Outside, flames burst from the suit, engulfing the weapons stockpile. Explosions tear through the camp. Tony takes his final chance. The engines ignite, lifting the heavy armour from the ground. For a few seconds, he flies. Then he crashes into the desert. Metal breaks apart and sand erupts around him. Tony crawls from the wreckage, alive.
