Bleach - Ichigo Kurosaki

Remember… Ichigo trapped at the bottom of a deep pit beneath Urahara’s shop, slowly turning into a Hollow? After his defeat by Byakuya, Ichigo has lost his Soul Reaper powers. But if he is to save Rukia, he needs to fight again. Kisuke Urahara offers him training: Tessai separates Ichigo’s soul from his body, and they place him in the pit with his arms bound. If Ichigo cannot awaken his own Soul Reaper powers in time, he will become a Hollow. Hours pass. Ichigo struggles to climb out, but the chain attached to his soul keeps eroding. At last, a hole opens in his chest and a white mask begins to form across his face. He screams as the transformation takes hold. Then Ichigo finds himself in a strange place, sitting against the side of a skyscraper with the city tilted around him. A man dressed in black appears and explains that Byakuya took the powers Ichigo borrowed from Rukia. Ichigo’s own power still lies within his soul, waiting to be found. To reach it, he must find his Soul Reaper badge. Above the pit, Urahara and the others fear they have lost him. Suddenly, Ichigo bursts out wearing a Soul Reaper’s black robes—and a Hollow’s white mask. He tears the mask from his face. His own power has awakened, but his encounter with the Hollow is far from over.
