Remember... when you first encountered Eileen the Crow in Yharnam, wearing her iconic crow mask? She hunts blood-drunk hunters — those who have lost themselves in the hunt. At first, she seems like an experienced ally, but seeing her story through to the end takes more than just a powerful weapon. The first challenge is the fight against Henryk at the Tomb of Oedon. You must help Eileen while keeping her alive. Focusing all your attention on Henryk might prevent you from noticing that Eileen is already dying. If she dies, her questline ends. Delaying this encounter is dangerous, too: failing to help her before entering the Forbidden Woods can send her story down a different path. After defeating Rom, you find Eileen severely wounded on the steps of the Grand Cathedral. Inside, the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst awaits. He wields the Chikage and punishes you at both close and long range with his Repeating Pistol. The Old Hunter Bone allows him to dodge with incredible speed, making it difficult to predict when he'll strike or fire. A reckless attack leaves you open to his counterattacks, while retreating doesn't guarantee safety — his pistol can still reach you. If his Numbing Mist hits you, even your ability to heal becomes restricted. The challenge here is twofold: first, you must keep Eileen's story alive, then overcome an opponent who fights by the very same rules as you. After your victory, Eileen rewards you with the Crow Hunter Badge and the Hunter rune — passing the responsibility of hunting hunters on to you.
