Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion-3D panel

Remember… when Lelouch faces Britannian soldiers in the Shinjuku ghetto, with only seconds left to live? The container they believed held a dangerous substance contained a green-haired girl instead. Lelouch now knows a secret the military cannot allow him to survive. Rifles point towards him. Talking his way out seems impossible. A shot rings out. C.C. steps in front of him. The bullet strikes her, and she falls at his feet. In an instant, the stranger who has only just escaped confinement sacrifices herself to protect him. The soldiers still have another witness to eliminate. Then the girl lying motionless reaches for his hand. The surrounding chaos recedes. Lelouch hears her voice. She offers him power—the chance to escape and pursue his ambitions. In return, he must promise to fulfil her wish. He accepts. When he faces the soldiers again, a red symbol appears in his eye. Moments earlier, they controlled whether he lived or died. Now he gives an order they cannot resist. They turn their weapons on themselves. Gunshots follow. Lelouch remains standing as the armed men collapse before him, the mark of Geass glowing in his eye.
