Demon Dlayer - Tengen Uzui

Remember… when Gyutaro believes Tengen is dead, only for him to return at the last second and intercept the sickle swinging toward Tanjiro? Tengen has lost his left hand, and poison is spreading through his body. He deliberately stopped his heartbeat to slow its circulation and deceive his opponent. Gyutaro left him on the ground, convinced he was finished. Now the Sound Hashira is back. Buildings burn around them. Blades collide, and curved slashes of blood tear through the street. With one hand, Tengen keeps pace. Throughout the battle, he has studied Gyutaro’s swings, pauses, and repeated movements. His Musical Score is complete: the attacks have become a rhythm he can read. But understanding that rhythm cannot restore his failing body. Tengen knows he cannot deliver the finishing blow himself. He holds Gyutaro in combat, creating an opening for Tanjiro to reach his neck. That decision reveals his judgment, responsibility, and trust. He understands his limits and commits his remaining strength to giving someone else a chance. Beneath the flamboyant confidence is a fighter willing to place the decisive moment in a younger comrade’s hands.
