Devil May Cry - Dante x Vergil

Remember… Dante and Vergil facing each other for the first time in Devil May Cry 3, high atop the Temen-ni-gru? Rain pours across the tower’s roof beneath a dark sky. Dante arrives to find his twin brother waiting calmly for him. They look alike, but their views of power are very different. Vergil seeks the power of their father, Sparda; Dante wants to stop him and understand what he is planning. Dante greets his brother with a joke, but Vergil has little interest in talking. He draws his katana, Yamato, and the fight begins. Dante swings his greatsword, Rebellion, and fires his guns. Vergil parries with precision, moves with blinding speed, and gives him no time to recover. At last, Dante is defeated and falls onto the rain-soaked roof. Vergil takes Dante’s amulet—the piece he needs to reach Sparda’s power—and impales him with Rebellion. Then he walks away without looking back. But Dante’s blood awakens the sword. His body transforms as his demonic power, Devil Trigger, emerges for the first time. Dante has lost their first fight, yet that defeat begins his discovery of his own power—and a new chapter in his conflict with Vergil.
