JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Giorno Giovanna & Golden Experience 3D panel

Remember… Diavolo seeing his own victory in the future, yet becoming unable to reach it? After Bucciarati’s final intervention, Giorno obtains the Arrow. It pierces Gold Experience; the Stand’s outer shell cracks, revealing Gold Experience Requiem. Diavolo remains certain of victory. Epitaph shows him the future, while King Crimson erases an interval of time, allowing him to approach Giorno for a fatal strike. Then his movements begin reversing. His attack returns to its starting point. This is Return to Zero: Diavolo’s actions and the will behind them are nullified, preventing the predicted outcome from becoming reality. Requiem addresses him independently—even Giorno does not fully understand its power. A barrage of punches sends Diavolo into the river. He appears to survive, but a succession of deaths begins. He is stabbed, awakens during an autopsy, and faces an approaching car. Each apparent ending leads into another fatal situation. He is not simply repeating one event. He experiences different deaths without ever reaching death’s final reality. His punishment mirrors his own ability: the man who erased unwanted moments and kept only their results can now never reach a final result.
