Jujutsu Kaisen - Gojo vs Toji

Remember… Toji defeating Gojo, only to face him again after his awakening? While protecting Riko Amanai, Gojo stays alert for days. Toji exhausts him through hired attackers, then strikes when Gojo returns to supposedly safe ground and lowers his guard. Toji possesses no cursed energy. In exchange, his body has extraordinary strength and speed, making him difficult to track. He uses the Inverted Spear of Heaven, a weapon that nullifies techniques on contact, to bypass Infinity. He critically wounds Gojo and leaves him for dead. But at death’s edge, Gojo finally understands reverse cursed technique and heals himself. When they meet again, he stands bloodstained and strangely serene. He evades Toji’s attacks and sends him flying with Red. His movements seem effortless, as though he finally understands his own power. Toji prepares counters for the techniques he knows. Gojo combines Blue and Red. Hollow Purple. The attack destroys part of Toji’s torso. Dying, he mentions Megumi, his son, whose transfer to the Zenin clan is approaching, and leaves the matter to Gojo. Toji shattered Gojo’s belief in his invulnerability. Surviving that defeat allowed Gojo to reach a level Toji could no longer overcome.
