Jujutsu Kaisen - Maki Zenin

Remember… Maki walking through the Zenin estate with Mai’s final gift—a sword—in her hand? She returned to collect weapons. Instead, her father, Ogi, attacks both daughters and leaves them to die in a pit filled with curses. Mai uses her remaining strength to create a blade. Jujutsu treats identical twins as one being; when she dies, she takes Maki’s remaining cursed energy with her. Maki’s Heavenly Restriction is fully realized, granting her extraordinary physical power. But when Maki opens her eyes, Mai is gone. She tries to wake her sister. Then she gently lays her down and steps outside. Ogi recognizes something terrifyingly familiar: the presence of another fighter like Toji. He prepares his flaming sword. Maki kills him in a single swift strike. An alarm rings. The clan’s fighters surround her, but neither their numbers nor their techniques stop her advance. Finally, Naoya confronts her, still convinced she cannot equal him. Maki reads his movements and brings him down with a devastating punch. Afterward, she carries Mai’s body away. There is no joy in proving the clan wrong. The person she wanted to escape its cruelty with cannot leave beside her. Mai’s final request—to destroy everything—now drives her onward.
