Naruto - Jiraya and Gamabunda

Remember… the three Legendary Sannin facing one another as enormous summons appear across the battlefield? At Jiraiya’s call, Gamabunta lands with an enormous sword at his side. Beneath Orochimaru coils the giant snake Manda, while Tsunade stands with Katsuyu, the great slug. Years ago, the three ninja fought together as a team. Now Orochimaru stands against his former comrades. Tsunade asks Katsuyu to carry Naruto to safety. Then she and Jiraiya attack. Katsuyu fires acid at Manda, but the snake swiftly avoids it and coils around her. Gamabunta joins the fight to stop him. The giant creatures clash, yet Manda moves quickly enough to keep Orochimaru out of reach. The serpent lunges toward Gamabunta—when Tsunade suddenly appears. She takes Gamabunta’s enormous sword in both hands and drives it through Manda’s mouth, pinning the snake to the ground. Orochimaru turns on Tsunade, but she pulls him toward her and sends him flying with a devastating punch. Finally, Orochimaru retreats with Kabuto. Jiraiya and Tsunade remain on the battlefield: former teammates who, despite everything they have endured, chose to fight together to protect Naruto and the Hidden Leaf.
