Naruto - Obito and Rin

Remember… Obito rushing to save Rin, only to arrive as Kakashi’s hand pierces her chest? Throughout his recovery, he imagined returning to his friends. He wanted Rin to know he was alive. Now the person who gave him a reason to endure falls before him. Rin deliberately stepped into Kakashi’s attack. The Three-Tails had been sealed inside her as part of a plan to destroy the Hidden Leaf. She chose to die protecting the village—but Obito knows none of this as he watches. He sees only her death. Mangekyō Sharingan awakens in both his and Kakashi’s eyes. Kakashi collapses. Obito advances on the Mist ninja, their attacks passing through him before he strikes back. When the violence ends, Rin remains motionless. He approaches her. Despite his terrifying new power, he cannot wake her. The artwork places her childhood smile above the image of Obito holding her—a memory of the girl who believed he could become Hokage. After losing her, Obito embraces Madara’s promised dream world, desperate for a reality where Rin lives. His tragedy deepens as that desire drives him to destroy the humanity she once valued in him.
