Samurai Champloo 3D panel

Remember… when Mugen, Jin, and Fuu stop at a crossroads, finally without a reason to keep travelling together? After countless fights and narrow escapes, their journey is over. The samurai who smells of sunflowers has been found. Different roads stretch ahead. Behind them lie the arguments, hunger, sudden dangers, and moments when they returned to save one another. Mugen and Jin revisit their promise: once the journey ended, they would fight. They clash, but their damaged swords break. Their long-delayed duel ends abruptly, and neither feels the same desire to kill the other anymore. Then Fuu reveals the secret of the coin toss that started everything. Both sides were identical. The choice that brought them together had been arranged from the beginning. Their irritation sparks another familiar argument—for a moment, they are simply the same three companions who have travelled so far together. But it is time to leave. Each chooses a different road. Fuu parts from the two men who have become precious to her. Mugen and Jin walk away in separate directions. Their footsteps grow distant. The crossroads falls behind them, and three roads carry them towards places they have yet to see.
