Warcraft - Garrosh
Remember… when Garrosh slams Thrall into the ground in Nagrand, reminding him who placed the Horde’s future in his hands? They face each other at the Stones of Prophecy, the alternate Draenor counterpart of the place where their relationship began. Once allies, they now have little left to exchange but accusations. Garrosh attacks with Gorehowl. Thrall deflects it, but Garrosh closes in, beating him with his fists. Doomhammer falls from Thrall’s hand. His prayer beads snap and scatter. Between blows, Garrosh reminds him: Thrall made him warchief, then left him to handle the consequences. Finally, his anger breaks into a wounded accusation: **“You failed me!”** Thrall rises and calls upon the elements. Fire launches Garrosh upward. Wind drives him down. Stone closes around him, holding him helpless. Garrosh insists that Thrall made him what he is. **“No. You chose your own destiny.”** Lightning strikes. Garrosh falls silent. Thrall retrieves his hammer and walks away. The duel settles Garrosh’s fate, but leaves Thrall’s decision to appoint him unresolved. That tension gives the scene its weight: a leader can bear responsibility for a disastrous appointment, while the person he appointed remains responsible for the choices that followed.
